Part-Time Outbound Calling / Phone Sales Operative

Location: Castle Donington (office-based)
Hours: Weekdays, 10:00am – 3:00pm
Rate: £14 per hour

We’re looking for a motivated and confident phone sales operative to join our clients team in Castle Donington and help expand their client base. This is an office-based, part-time role, perfect for someone looking for structured hours and the opportunity to develop skills in sales and business communication. Our client works with businesses rather than end-users, helping them showcase products and services in a professional and eye-catching way.

Role Overview

  • Make outbound calls to potential business customers from a provided list.

  • Gauge interest in our display solutions and assess suitability for our products.

  • Collect and verify key contact information including the ideal contact name and email address.

  • Update our CRM/database with accurate contact details and call notes.

  • Send initial information emails to prospective clients.

  • Pass on qualified leads to our field sales team for follow-up and closure.

  • Occasionally follow up on leads or respond to basic queries by phone or email.

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to improve outreach scripts, reporting, and efficiency.

Skills & Attributes

  • Confident and professional on the phone, with excellent communication skills.

  • Organised and detail-oriented, able to manage databases accurately.

  • Target-driven, motivated to meet and exceed outreach goals.

  • IT literate, comfortable with CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Friendly and persuasive, able to build rapport quickly with business contacts.

  • Able to work independently but also collaborate effectively with a small team.

Previous experience in telemarketing, B2B sales, or customer service is desirable but not essential. Training provided to help you succeed in the role.
